there are also lots of boondocking spots along Jack Creek outside the campground. there is a completely flat trail, on an old logging road, that starts at Jack Creek Campground (NFS) that is cheap and has lots of sites and tons of space between sites, nice pit toilets. it is only a couple of miles off the main highway 20, mostly paved to the campground. silence of no humans around, just the breeze in the pines and the birds communicating. semi-submerged rotting logs with wildflowers growing in the middle of the flow.
